Have I had a busy weekend, let me tell you!
Between Friday and Sunday (yesterday) I was able to update not one…
not two…
not three…
but FOUR chapters!

HOLY CRAPBALLS! How did this happen?
As I told my Wattpad followers, remember that time you edited your draft so much that you were much further into your revisions than you initially thought and were able to get two chapters revised and updated in just as many days??
HELLS YEAH I DO!
So Chapter Fifteen has posted.
We have had a time lapse and are now on the eve of Alexstrayna’s coronation.
Will it go off without a hitch? Or will Reylor and his minions crash the Empress’ festivities?

So let me tell you a little bit about Chapter Fourteen.
It’s brand new.
That’s right.
This is, in essence, a brand hew, first time ever seen, draft of a chapter that was never done before.

Wattpad & WriteOn: Chapter Nine
I changed my mind- I tend to do that a lot.
Last weekend I had posted the first part of Chapter Nine to Wattpad and WriteOn because 1) it was done, and 2) I knew the second part would take me a lot longer to revise, so better to get something up than nothing at all.
But the more I think about it, the more I consider what’s to come, story-wise, and I’ve decided that Chapter Nine is remaining as it is, and the remainder of the draft will become Chapter Ten. There’s a lot of heavy dialogue coming up, and I think I need to centralize that more.
So yeah… Chapter Nine is up, Chapter Ten will post this weekend.

100 Words: Chapter Nine
I changed my mind.
100 words is a much better tease than 1,000 words.
1,000 words is practically a whole chapter!
100 words is a decent paragraph.
Yup, from now on, 100 words it is!
So here you have the next part of Chapter Nine – the first part is already up on Wattpad and WriteOn, mainly because it’s done, and I don’t know how long it’s going to take me to finish Chapter Nine. It’s not necessarily a long chapter, but it’s a dialogue-heavy and a major relationship-building point for Alex and Treyan, so there’s a lot of pressure to make sure it’s done right. Enjoy! He pulled away from her, and suddenly. With his hand remaining behind her head, he dug in and pulled her hair, bringing her head up to him as close as the restraints would allow. Alex let you a silent scream as the tears came to her eyes. His red eyes penetrated hers as a look of complete disgust came over his face.
Wattpad & WriteOn: Chapter Seven
CHAPTER SEVEN IS COMPLETE!
… at least as far as its 2nd draft revisions are concerned.
I don’t know why this one took me so long to finish the revisions on this one, but I swear I was stuck at moving on from the first part forever. It wasn’t until I started putting the effort and energy into this blog, Wattpad and WriteOn that the motivation to actually get these revisions done finally took over.

Please let me know what you think! Chapter Eight’s revisions are in the works so I hope to have it up sooner than later. I actually cut the end of Chapter Seven off to move it over to Chapter Eight because I realize I’m tired of chapters ending and beginning with people waking up.
